What is ...

• My family now
  • - the sweet little sons:
    •  Jan, born in ‘83
      

      and his best brother
      

    •  York, born in ‘88
      

    - and my lovely partner and wife:

      (more interested in her job than in the electronic  community)

    - we are all (more or less) reachable through our 'Smeddinck' site.

    • My loved brother Andreas sadly left this world forever in January 2019
      

  Where I was working before retiring  (always ready, but never too early)

  Since 2021 I'm now enjoying the life with less duties ...

    • Find the most here: Spektrum der  Wissenschaft (Scientific American, German  Edition)
      Some stuff of the NASA  is also very fascinating, and
      the important of the rest you will find directly in  front of your door.

    - Conciousness += Buddhism (lucky not to be not ready  with it)

    • but I'm shure one of the very interesting living  persons is the Dalai Lama ,
      who will be, I think, very happy about a Free Tibet.
      
      ...and other (crazy ?) ideas, which others may call  philosophy or

    - Science Fiction (not ready)

    • but preferring:

      - and (who else could it be) Douglas Adams (h2g2 c/o bbc)
      - what should not mean that I don't pay honor to I.  Asimov, J. Vernes and all the other famous writers,  who create fantastic ideas about what could be
       

      At this place comes a very Big Grunt of  Sorrow about the stupidity of man, which  continously allows that humans are killing others of  their race in hundreds!

      - and last not least we could enjoy the trekki jokes

      - Games (PC, Board, Cards)(damned, why do the days& only have 48 hours?)
      
      - Apropos: sometimes I am creating games, I decided to make some examples public.
      (all programs in german language, for elder Windows/DOS versions)
      You may load from here STARDIGGERS(77.305 bytes), in its last revision about 1990.
      It is a DOS trading and strategy game for up to 4 persons. (I learned programming BASIC with it)
      Further you wil find here GoWinda (66.829  bytes), a GO-game for Windows (and as usual a maximum  of 2 players)
      I tried some C programming on it (sorry, its not very sophisticated but if you like to win a GO game you have a real chance ...
